Blue Moon And Lunar Eclipse


the moon is changing

at the peak of the wheel

water turns north...

headed towards the star

that insists it will see morning


but like every other night before

it blinks... and disappears from the sky

dreaming of returning to the womb


the moon is left

standing bleary-eyed and naked

in front of the whole sky

her confidence in the day folds

and she collapses

back into the quiet darkness

at the other side of the world
